Fall 2010 U13 BFC Tournament Champion !
The Cheetahs captured the U13 Girls BFC Tournament Championship on October 24, 2010, in Belleville, Illinois. In a very exciting championship final, the Cheetahs played the excellent BFC-Elliot squad to a 0-0 regulation finish. After 2 scoreless Golden Goal periods, the Cheetahs and BFC shot 7 rounds of Penalty Kicks as the Cheetahs prevailed 2-1. Stout goalkeeping lead the way for the Cheetahs. Earlier in the brackets, the Cheetahs recorded 3 wins and 1 draw: 1-0 v. FC Peoria, 0-0 v. SASA Spirits White Lightning, 1-0 v. SIYSA Hawks (Marion), & 2-0 v. Quincy United. That's zero Goals Allowed over 5 games!

LEAGUE CHAMPIONS...AGAIN!!!
Not only did the team have to win three games this weekend out of three played, the last game was against the Kixx who was also playing for first place. The winner would be in 1st place and the loser would be in 3rd. The girls played their hearts out this weekend and won all three games...scoring 16 goals and only allowing one. They won the championship game 4-1. Remember, what a great feat this is in repeating as champions. Only one team has done it in this age group of girls and that was way back in U-9 with Metro Thompson.

Top 15 Scoring in all of US!
As of May 23, 2010 The Cheetahs are the 15th ranked team in all of the U12 Girl Teams in the US for Scoring...Truly an amazing feat and a credit to the hard work that this team has put in during the 2009/2010 Season.

Spring 2010 BFC Tournament Finalist
This tournament was the first time the team ever played 11v11 and we made it to the finals facing the 3 time State Champs, SASA Extreme. We lost 0-2 but played a great game. This tournament was a great preview into next year when we move up to 11v11...GREAT JOB!!!

First Place SISL Fall 2009
The Cheetahs were just awarded the Champions Plaque for winning the U12 Girls Division for SISL in the Fall of 2009. The team had 8 wins and 2 ties with no losses. They scored 52 Goals and only allowed 8.
